A Garda investigation into “chronic anti-social behaviour, vandalism, and destruction” at Annaghdown pier has been initiated following calls for such action by Fine Gael senator Fidelma Healy Eames.
According to Sen Healy Eames, ‘boy racers’, “deliberate destruction of cruisers”, an attack on a local person, suspected drug dealing, vandalism, littering, and intimidation against local families are among the “on-going problems” being experienced in the Annaghdown area.
