TheGalwayFlame.com and Salsamania.ie have teamed up to organise a unique event for Galway singles on Saturday August 8 at Red Square - speed dating with salsa dancing.
Instead of going on a series of short dates like on a speed dating night, participants will go on a series of short dances with other singles. It’s also ideal for salsa novices, as all the steps will be taught by Salsamania’s Anna and Vitor.
Participants will learn three steps, starting with the cha cha cha. Once you’ve been shown how, then you need to practice - so you will try out the new steps with various partners. You will learn the salsa, and finally the up close and personal bachata. At the end of the dancing, you will also have the opportunity to fill in a speed dating match card. If there has been a mutual attraction between you and someone else, you both will receive each other’s contact details.
