A healthy lifestyle directory produced by the local heart charity Croí and supported by the Galway City Sports Partnership was launched in the city yesterday (Wednesday).

Up to 30,000 copies of the booklet, which was compiled by NUI Galway marketing students Laura Mahon and Joanne Buckley, are being distributed free.

Exclusive vocal masterclasses with leading Irish soprano

The Galway Music Residency is seeking applications from vocalists to participate in an exclusive masterclass with leading Irish soprano Deirdre Moynihan on June 2.

The vocal masterclasses will take place in the Aula Maxima at NUI, Galway and each participant will have a 30 minute lesson. Only 10 spots are available and the closing date for applications is May 18. The event is subsidised by The Galway Music Residency and there is a fee of €20 per student.
