A barrel of fun at the museum

A barrel organ concert from the Breton group Roselyne et son Homme takes place at the Galway City Museum on Monday May 10.

Roselyne describes the band as “Gypsies of the modern times” and they regularly play festivals, markets, street parties, family events, and taverns.

The performance will be the third collaboration between the Galway based Soundscape Music Project and the museum. Soundscape organises music activities for people with disabilities. The group owns a handmade solid oak organ supplied to them by the renowned French organ maker Sebastien Schuetz. Members of Soundscape will support Roselyne et son Homme.

The show starts at 11.30am. All are welcome. Tea, coffee, and crepes will also be available.
