See artist Jerry Marjoram at work

The Dublin born artist Jerry Marjoram will give a painting demonstration in aid of Cancer Care West in the Kenny Gallery, Liosban, on Saturday at 2pm.

At the event, Jerry will paint the tumbling water of the Ballinahinch River in Connemara for his demonstration. He draws inspiration for his paintings from the West of Ireland landscape.

Jerry was born in the Liberties in Dublin in 1936. He began to paint for pleasure, but the hobby soon became a passion. He went to classes in the College of Art, and eventually, Combridges in Grafton Street began to sell his paintings. Since then he has had many solo exhibitions, and his work features in numerous collections.

There will be a limit of 110 tickets for the demonstration and all proceeds will go directly to Cancer Care West. Tickets are €15. For booking and further information contact The Kenny Gallery on 091 - 709350 or email [email protected].
