Poetry workshops at Galway Arts Centre

THE POET Kevin Higgins will teach classes in poetry writing for beginners and advanced levels in the Galway Arts Centre, Dominick Street, starting in September.

The classes on Tuesdays (starting September 25), from 7pm to 8.30pm, and Fridays (starting September 28) from 2pm to 3.30pm, are open to complete beginners as well as those who have been writing for some time. The Thursday classes (starting September 27), from 2pm to 4pm is an advanced poetry workshop for those who have participated in poetry workshops before or had poems published in magazines.
