It features poetry and music, but is not a poetry recital or a concert. It is instead an interaction between voice, verse, music, and languages, to create a new poetic-musical sound.

The Word Is Moving will be staged in the Town Hall Theatre on Monday at 8pm. The show is produced and curated by Galway’s Dancer in Residence Tanya McCrory in collaboration with Cúirt.

ALÂ COMMUNITY Theatre is seeking volunteers to help with it’s upcoming performances of The Stinky Cheeseman in the Town Hall and for the Volvo Ocean Race.

To celebrate the company’s fifth anniversary, ALâ will stage The Stinky Cheeseman in the Town Hall from May 27 to 30. It will also be performed on the streets of Galway on May 30 as part of Volvo Ocean Race and in Waterford on June 6.
