CAMPBELL’S TAVERN in Cloughanover, Headford, is well known as a great folk, roots, and singer-songwriter venue, but this weekend it’s hosting a show for Galway jazz fans.
Headford clarinettist and saxophonist Matthew Berrill has organised this show which will see three acts play on Friday July 31 at 9pm.
Matthew will lead his own quartet who will play an exciting mixture of Brazilian music and jazz. Dublin based saxophonist Nick Roth brings his own ensemble into the fold with a combination of Balkan and Eastern European melodies. Also playing are Galway’s The Jazz Addicts, who play a fusion of jazz standards and originals.
