Gardai seek next of kin of deceased Englishman who lived in Galway in the 1990s

Gardai at Blackrock in Cork are seeking the public’s help in locating the next of kin of a 61-year-old man who died recently.

Michael O’Fallon lived at Mahon in Cork and passed away on July 13. It is believed he was originally from England but lived in the Galway/Aran Islands area in the 1990s.

Funeral of Moylough truck driver today

The body of a young Galway truck driver killed in Italy last week has been brought home.

John Paul Mannion (25) from Moylough, in north Galway was killed when the cattle truck he was driving collided with another last week near the city of Verona. A requiem Mass will take place today (Thursday) at 12 noon in Moylough Church, with the funeral afterwards to Moylough cemetery.
