Galway Film Fleadh reveals opening and closing films

COMEDIAN TOMMY Nicholson, who has supported Louis CK, Tommy Tiernan, and Des Bishop, performs at the Dew Drop Inn Comedy Club tonight from 9pm.

Tommy has performed in Vicar Street, the Kilkenny Cats Laughs, and the Iveagh Gardens Comedy Festivals. He is a Laughter Lounge regular and has appeared on RTÉ’s The Savage Eye.

Colours Fringe Festival programme launch

THE 2014 Colours Fringe Festival programme launch takes place in The Cottage Bar, Lower Salthill, tomorrow at 7.30pm.

Writer and storyteller Rab Swannock Fulton will launch the festival, which runs from July 1 to 8. The theme of this year’s festival, which features theatre, music, performance, workshops, visual art, and film, is ‘to whom it may concern’.
