The Dirty Circus and a Galway Film Fleadh night

THE DIRTY Circus, Galway’s burlesque and cabaret event, returns to the Róisín Dubh on Wednesday July 8 and as that is also the day the Galway Film Fleadh opens and fleadh guests will be attending the show.

The distinguished American underground film-maker Beth B will attend The Dirty Circus on the night. Her documentary Exposed, which profiles eight artists who use nudity to explore sexual and social taboo, is being shown in the Cinemobile, outside the Town Hall Theatre, on Thursday July 10 at 10pm.

Also attending the circus will be actress and screenwriter Jackie Monahan, whose new comedy film The Foxy Merkins is being shown at the Fleadh on Thursday 10 in the IMC Cinema.

The MC for the circus is Kristin Kapelli and performers include Shir Madness (pictured above ), Harley Sparks, Miss Burlesque finalist Turkish Delight, and Lily Kelly. Cantina Bop will play sexy and underground tunes.

There will be prizes on the night for the best dressed audience members. Doors are at 9pm.
