THE CLANDESTINOS, Galway’s new roots reggae band will play a two hour set Monroe’s Live on Friday March 20 at 10pm.

As well as roots reggae, the sextet’s sound also incorporates dub, Latin, and ska, through acoustic and electric guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, trumpets, and four part vocal harmonies. They will also cover classic hits by Bob Marley, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Peter Tosh, and The Clash.

LEADING IRISH DJs will be spinning the decks at Electric for the Abbeygate Street club’s St Patrick’s Weekender series of events, running from Saturday to Monday.

On Saturday DJ Deece (aka Niall D’arcy - also one half of Decent Perks) will spin house and disco on the mainfloor of Electric. In Factory, it will be the Tome night with Dylan and Eoin. Admission is €8/5.
