INTERSKALACTIC, hailed as “the future of ska in Ireland” by The Late Late Show’s Ryan Tubridy, return to Galway with their old-school Jamaican style ska.
The band play The Loft (formerly Kelly’s ), Bridge Street, on Saturday April 11 at 9.30pm. They have won acclaim for their live performances, which feature covers of The Skatalites, Byron Lee & the Dragonaires, and Prince Buster, along with original compositions, and ska styled versions of popular hits.
The band have played the Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Cork Jazz festivals; and opened for Madness in Dublin and Belfast. Dave Barry will be DJing afterwards. Admission is €8.
