Galway festivals seek volunteers

THE GALWAY International Arts Festival is encouraging people to volunteer with the festival. Volunteer co-ordinators Sheila Quinn and Cian McCarthy will do their utmost to match people’s preferences with their available time. Once people have joined up, the festival will have an informal 10-minute interview and an induction evening before starting. Volunteers will be able to work as Festival Ambassadors; invigilators in the Festival galleries; stewards in the Big Top, as part of on the street teams, etc.
