Bernard O'Shea is expecting...at the Róisín Dubh

WHAT IS pregnancy like for fathers? What can happen to them and what can they expect when they are not the ones giving birth? Irish comedian Bernard O'Shea just may have the answers.

Bernard, best known from RTÉ's Republic of Telly - where he plays a roving reporter and Georgia Salpa’s love interest - and host of 2FM’s Breakfast Republic, will present his new show, What To Expect When You're Not The One Expecting at the Róisín Dubh this Saturday at 8.30pm.

The Offaly manhas played The Kilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy Festival, The Vodafone Comedy Festival in Dublin, and the Edinburgh Fringe. The Scotsman said Bernard "reminds you how extraordinary stand-up can be"; Chortle.co.uk described him as "a fizzing, iridescent ball of sheer energy"; while the Irish Independent called him "one for the future...amazing routines from out of nowhere and beautiful crafted songs.”

Support is from Mark Doheny. Tickets are €17.50/15 from The Ticket Desk, OMG, Shop Street; the Róisín Dubh; and www.roisindubh.net.
