At 3pm on Christmas Day a sung traditional Latin mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of St Mary’s College, St Mary’s Road.
The traditional Latin mass has been celebrated weekly in Galway since 2012 by the priests of the Institute of Christ the King, and since August 2020, with the gracious assistance of the College and Diocesan authorities, the mass has been celebrated on Sundays at 3pm in St Mary’s College Chapel.

Galway TD and Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Hildegarde Naughton, has welcomed Cabinet approval to proceed with the next steps required for the provision of a new Elective Hospital for Galway and the region.
This new service will be delivered in two phases, commencing with day cases, diagnostics and outpatients, followed by inpatient treatment.
