The Modern Homes and Building Exhibition is set to return to Leisureland, Salthill on April 16,17, and 18. The show is on schedule to be a huge success and will open its doors to the public from 6pm – 10pm on Friday and 12noon – 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Man sent for trial for forgery during Galway County Council employment

A 29-year-old man who is accused of allegedly forging a driving licence while being employed by the Galway County Council has been sent forward for trial at the next sitting of Galway Circuit Court.

Detective Inspector John Hunt gave evidence of serving the book of evidence on Brendan Folan on the morning of Monday’s court sitting.
