Planning granted for Knocknacarra Educate Together National School

The Galway City Council has decided to approve planning permission to accomodate the Knocknacarra Educate Together National School.
The school will initially be housed at a premises beside Aviva Insurance in Knocknacarra once it opens in September, prior to the completion of its permanent residence in a building currently used by Gaelscoil Mhic Amhlaigh.

aThe Salthill Hotel has exited receivership less than a week after the Byrne Hotel Group confirmed it was no longer operating the long-running establishment.
The news comes following the successful acquisition of the hotel by Ralerno Hotels Ltd. The company, which was set up last year, is run by former Salthill Hotel owners and Galway directors Richard and Sandra Byrne. The hotel has confirmed it will therefore continue to operate as a family-run hotel.
