Summer at Coole Park

There is plenty to enjoy at Coole Park in Gort with walks, family events, and children’s activities commencing on Sunday, July 6, with a guided walk from 2.30pm to 4pm.

‘The story of Coole’ is a family friendly guided walk which will cover nature, wildlife, and history and give an insight into life at Coole in the days of the Gregory family. Walks will continue each Sunday except on Sunday July 27 when there will be a family art and nature event from 2.30pm to 4pm.

On Wednesdays during July and August, from 2.30pm to 4pm nature activities for children aged five to 10 years are being offered. Exploring together with the National Parks and Wildlife Service staff, children will discover the wonderful world of nature. There is no charge but booking is essential and children must be accompanied by an adult.
