Arts Council is set to invest €2.6 million in Galway arts organisations

The Arts Council is to invest €2.6 million in Galway based arts organisations in 2015, with the Galway county and city council also to receive a grant of more than €76,000 for their arts services.
A total of 19 organisations have successfully applied for funding, including Druid Theatre Company, the Galway International Arts Festival, and Clifden Community Arts Week. The Arts Council added it will also make “significant funding” available throughout the year for touring, projects, and bursaries.
