Thu, Oct 15, 2015

And so this is it. After all the walking and talking and consultations and soul searching and swearing and gnashing of teeth, it has all boiled down to 80 pages of glossy print which sits proudly in the back of a car this morning like a latter day Book of Kells as it winds its way south to Kerry. Precious cargo indeed, as it is the most important document to ever leave Galway. If successful, it will leave an imprint on the city like none before. An imprint that will last for the bulk of this century and locate Galway as the happening city in Ireland.

Crime in the Country

Thu, Oct 08, 2015

The alarming activities of feral criminal gangs who roam the countryside preying on innocent victims was once again highlighted in unequivocal terms last week. The details of this devastating attack has shocked Ireland and the idea that such violence and brutality could be witnessed by three children is sickening and extremely frightening. Indeed, if it was not for the fast thinking actions of Mrs Corcoran to make a 999 call and leave her phone active under her bed, these criminals may still be walking our streets today and inflicting further mayhem on rural Ireland.
