St Joseph’s College ‘The Bish’ Rowing Club are holding their annual Christmas cake sale and coffee morning to raise funds for the club.
The event will be held at St Pat’s primary school on Lombard Street in the city centre, across the road from the Saturday morning market. The cake sale and coffee morning will take place Saturday, November 28, and will run from 10am to 2pm. There will be a host of activities taking place at the event including novelty quizzes, monster raffle and carol singing with Galway Choral Association.
Santa and Mrs Claus will also be making an appearance and a fantastic array of home baking, including Christmas Cakes and Puddings will be available to sample and purchase, with an impressive range of refreshments on offer throughout the morning.
Everyone is welcome and a particular appeal is being extended to former Bish pupils and oarsmen to come along with> their families.
The Bish Rowing Club, one of the most successful in the country is anticipating a great year on the water in 2016 and is looking forward to what should be a great event in St Pat’s school on Saturday morning, November 28.
