The A Capella Knights are set to host their Christmas concert ‘White Christmas: An Eclectic Mix of Festive Favourites’ next Friday, December 4, in the Galway Cathedral at 7:45pm in aid of Galway Simon Community.
The Galway band will be joined on the evening by guest groups The Bluebirds, Galway Baytones, Gospel Wedding Group and The Tribal Chamber Choir.
“The concert will be a mix of Christmas and traditional festive music featuring a cappella vocals, instrumental, soloists, and choral music”, explains Brian Hickey, member of The A Capella Knights. ‘We have gathered some of Galway’s finest voices, together with Galway Cathedral’s Musical Director Ray O’Donnell, for what we believe will be a very special night that will appeal to all kinds of taste”.
The A Capella Knights have been backed by local artist, David Lee, from Moycullen, who is commissioning an art piece to raffle on the night of the concert. David’s work is highly regarded both locally and nationally.
