As this latest cycle of violence continues unabated between the Israeli Defence Forces and Hamas, more than 30,000 Palestinians have been killed, mostly civilians, overwhelmingly women and children. “While we wait for the International Court of Justice to issue its verdict on the charge of genocide, more than two million people have been ordered to vacate their homes in contravention of international human rights law, and are now displaced, without adequate shelter, food, water, or protection from the relentless bombing and indiscriminate shooting,” they said.
