Planning for Oranmore train station facelift submitted, says Naughton

Government Chief Whip, Hildegarde Naughton TD, has confirmed that the planning permission for the €12 million redevelopment of Oranmore Train Station have been submitted. Minister Naughton had previously secured €9 million from the Government’s Urban Regeneration and Development Fund and €3 million, in her previous role in the Department of Transport, for the project. Enabling works for the new station are due to begin before the end of the year.
