Traffic changes in Moycullen as roundabouts are ‘tied in,’ says Kyne

Traffic delays can be expected in Moycullen in the coming weeks as the new bypass roundabouts are to be ‘tied in’ to the existing N59 initially at Clydagh and then Drimcong from early February.

According to Sen Sean Kyne, kerbing on the Clydagh roundabout is to take place this week and tarmac surfacing will occur next week, weather permitting.

We all have a habit of looking through people, avoiding eye contact, not even offering people the courtesy of an acknowledgment of their existence. And everyone has their reasons for it.

According to the Veterinary Council of Ireland, 302 new vets and 139 new veterinary nurses were added to the Irish register in 2022, and of those Galway and Cork both received 20 each. Thirty-two opted to practise in Dublin.

Galway is second cleanest city in the country, says IBAL report

Galway is the second cleanest city in the country after Waterford, while Ballybane has seen a marked improvement compared to previous surveys, according to the latest Irish Business Against Litter report, published this week.

The IBAL survey also found that Ballinasloe fared best of the three Galway sites inspected. The final litter survey of 2022 found both Ballinasloe and Galway city centre again deemed clean to European norms, in 13th and 19th place respectively in the ranking of 40 towns and cities nationwide.
