Return of the Rubberbandits

THE MIGHTY Rubberbandits are coming back to the Róisín Dubh on Saturday May 14 at 9pm for the KC at Night Listeners Party.

The Limerick hip-hop comedy duo will be performing live and the show will be simultaneously broadcast on Today FM’s KC At Night show. Straddling the comedy and music worlds, the Rubberbandits are South Park live with added social commentary. It is crude and rude but hits the target every time. KC and Ferg will DJ afterwards.

John Grant, who plays Strange Brew in the Róisín Dubh on Thursday May 5 at 9pm, was born in Michigan and spent many years in Denver, where he would later form the band The Czars.

New Model Army’s Justin Sullivan and Dean White will play Monroe’s Backstage Bar on Wednesday at 8pm. The show will be “semi-acoustic” and see Sullivan, along with guitarist/keyboardist White give alternative performances of NMA material, ranging from the band’s 1984 debut Vengeance to 2009’s Today Is A Good Day.
