Galway rower Aifric Keogh has been selected on the Ireland team that will travel to Lucerne for the 2019 European Rowing Championships.
Keogh, who rows with UCC will compete in the women's pair, having made history last season when she and Emily Hegarty from UCC became the first women's pair from Ireland to qualify for an A final in the World Rowing Championships.

Maree finished their men’s Superleague campaign in impressive fashion on Saturday night, completing the double over Belfast Star for what was a third successive win to wrap up their season.
Mike Lynch’s side found themselves trailing at the end of the first two quarters, but a dominant third quarter display saw them get their noses in front; and they wrapped up the win with a free-flowing display in the final quarter in which they outscored the visitors 25-7 to finish 96-75 winners.

Manager Tim Rabbitte has made three changes to the team that overcame Cork by 1-8 to 0-5 last weekend with the Dunmore McHales Hannon sisters making their starts.
