Fantasy Football round 32 preview

It has been a roller coaster ride for Irish football fans this past week.

There was the stepping down of John Delaney from CEO to the executive vice-president of the FAI, the dreadful showing against Gibraltar, and a feel-good victory against Georgia on Tuesday night in Dublin. Six points have been garnered from six and it seems that at least on the field, Irish football is moving towards the light.

But it is back to domestic league matters and with a double gameweek, it is incredibly important to select the right players to get your team moving up the Advertiser Tribal League in association with St Anthony's and Claddagh Credit Union.

Raheem Sterling (Man City ) v Fulham and Cardiff City

With five goals in his last five league outings and four goals in two matches for England at the weekend, Raheem Sterling is one of the hottest properties in English football. This week sees the champions visit all but doomed Fulham and welcome relegation-threatened Cardiff to Eastlands. The advice is simple; City will hammer both teams and Sterling will be on the score sheet. Make him captain for double the points.

Sergio Agüero (Man City ) v Fulham and Cardiff City

Joining Sterling on this list is Argentine hitman Sergio Agüero. He has not scored in his last two games but City's number 10 rarely goes three consecutive games drawing a blank and this week he will find the back of the net against Fulham and Cardiff City. Get him in your team.

Raúl Jiménez (Wolves ) v Burnley and Man United

The Mexican has arguably been one of the signings of the season and has led the promoted side to seventh position in the table. Jiménez has scored six goals in his last seven games as well as a strike during Wolves' famous cup win against Man United in the middle of the month. The Black Country outfit will hope the long trip out to California to represent his country will not slow down the big number nine. This week Jiménez and his mates will take on Burnley and United and I believe he will continue his good form against both teams.
