hCorinthians have crept up to second place in the AIB League division three with a solid run of form that continued against lowly Barnhall on Saturday.
The Galway outfit, in third place before last weekend’s round, did enough to edge Barnhall by 18 - 12 and keep pace with league leaders Portadown.

The Galway Black Dragon Kickboxing Gym is promoting an international full contact kickboxing tournament at Galway’s Black Box Theatre on Saturday, entitled "Seasons Beatings".
This is one of the Galway club’s most ambitious projects and will feature an Ireland v The Carribbean five-man team event, three IKF European title fights, an IKF All Ireland title fight, an IKF Five-Nations title fight, an Ireland v England international bout, and seven undercard fights featuring fighters from Galway.

Things are tough and unfortunately it looks like they will get worse before they get better. Hence it was good to hear a little bit of positive news for cash-strapped GAA fans and some first-class thinking this week from the marketing people in Croke Park for the new GAA season.
