Something for everyone in the Property Partners Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard May auction

Thu, Apr 05, 2012

Continuing on from its successful spring auctions, progressive property firm Property Partners Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard has announced the first of its upcoming summer auctions. The company’s latest offerings to go under the hammer comprise a diverse mix of properties which will appeal to all sectors of the market in what auctioneer James Heaslip says will be an engaging event. “All the properties which we are promoting will offer a mix which will appeal to a range of buyers from across the spectrum,” he said. “As usual, the one thing that the properties have in common is that they are very attractively priced. Our vendors are aware that we have unrivalled results and have bought into the mantra that in order to sell at auction, properties must be priced keenly. Our recent auctions show this is the case and as long as a property offers good value then we will sell it.”

John Quinn reports a busy start to 2012

Thu, Mar 01, 2012

John Quinn & Co has experienced a very busy start to 2012 with an array of excellent sales taking place in and around the city including a four bed detached bungalow with garage in Tirellan Heights which was less than two weeks on the market, a three bedroom semidetached residence in Cartur Mór, Clybaun Road, a three bed semidetached house in Lurgan Park in Murrough which sold within 10 days of being placed on the market, a very nice three bed semi in Ros Caoin, Roscam, and two properties disposed of in Riasc Na Rí, Bóthar Stiofáin. This was followed with sales of a three bed home in Duirling, Roscam, a three bedroom semidetached residence in Cimín Mór, and a four bed semi with converted garage at The Rise in Knocknacarra.

John Quinn said that while there is no significant pick-up in prices, the level of sales is encouraging insofar as people who have waited for some considerable time for the market to drop to its current level now see an opportunity to venture into the market, and they are being pleasantly surprised by the excellent selection of properties available at very affordable prices. He said this has led to buyers being proactive in bidding and achieving very good prices due to present market conditions. According to John Quinn it is clear that properties that are sensibly priced, as can be seen from the start that has been made to 2012, will attract very good interest and be subsequently sold.
