‘Crying need’ for city based mental health charity, councillor says

A local city councillor has highlighted the “crying need” for a city based charity which addresses mental health issues among young people.

Councillor Neil McNelis was speaking at the launch of Annie’s Ball which takes place in the autumn and is in aid of the Positive Mental Health Foundation. It runs workshops in schools which encourage young people to communicate more openly about their feelings and the issues which affect them.
