RTÉ Radio 1’s flagship news programme Morning Ireland will be stopping in Galway next week to hear the interesting stories and voices of Galwegians.
The Ireland by bike series will hear the stories of real people at the start of the summer as reporter Cian McCormack travels on his bike for 10 days in June stopping in Galway as well as other towns, villages, and communities from the midlands to the southeast.

Three wildlife charities have joined forces to bring awareness of wildlife to the citizens of Galway on Saturday May 21 in a free event to mark Biodiversity Week 2016.
The Vincent Wildlife Trust, the Irish Wildlife Trust, and Birdwatch Ireland have organised the event at The Granary Learning Centre, on Dominick Street Lower, which will commence at 12.00 noon and finish at 6.30pm. There will also be a bat walk at 9.15pm.
