Men who give a damn support local charities

The Galway chapter of 100 Men Who Give A Damn, the first chapter of the organisation in Europe, will hold its quarterly meeting in the Portershed this evening and is inviting new members to get involved.

The premise for the group is simple — men who give a damn get together four times a year. The group listens to short pitches from three local charities on the night, detailing specific projects for which they need funding. It's like Dragon's Den, but for charities, and one charity is guaranteed to walk away with funding.
