Loughrea Library launches Loughrea Project

The Loughrea Project, a collaboration between the Loughrea Library Craft Group and the Loughrea Men’s Shed, was officially launched in Loughrea Library, Church Street.

Using craft skills in textiles and wood, the project created representations of Loughrea lake, the crannógs of the lake and St Brendan’s boat.
