Galway's most talked about fashion store in recent weeks has begun its rebirth with the addition of the Jack & Jones label. The brand is global and brings real fashion choice and value to Galway consumers. The very latest autumn winter collection has just arrived in-store.
Jack & Jones travels back in time to American gas stations. The inspiration comes from old racing jackets with vertical stripes on the chest — a detail that is repeated on T-shirts, nylon jackets, shorts, and sweats. Badges and big numbers are other important details this spring when it comes to creating the authentic vintage look. Traditional American motorcross can be seen as well through the washed-out look with focus on applications.

Thu, Sep 03, 2009
Designed by the legendary course architect Eddie Hackett, Connemara Championship Links is one of the finest golf courses in Ireland and has played host to many famous visitors including Tom Watson. Perched on the edge of Europe, the course offers not only a superb test of golf, but also splendid scenery including the Twelve Bens etched against the skyline, or Ballyconneely Bay, dusted with pure, white sand. Connemara Championship Links was developed further in 2000, with the addition of nine new holes designed once again by Eddie Hackett and completed by Tom Craddock.
Connemara Championship Links recently underwent a major facelift with the redevelopment of its clubhouse. The €2 million project included an extension to the restaurant and bar with an aim of taking full advantage of the spectacular views over the course. A new pro shop and new locker rooms were also included as part of the development. This investment by Connemara will ensure that the club remains a 'must visit' for both domestic and international visitors alike.

Now is the best time of year to learn or improve your golf. For the next couple of months, the days remain fairly long and the temperature remains fairly mild. Most of the big competitions have passed so you will have less anxiety about making small changes to your motion. Coming into the winter is the best time to learn to swing the club or learn to swing it better because you will have ample time to put in the repetitions (practice) needed before spring.
