An event that helps to raise awareness of animal welfare and the work of welfare groups in Ireland will run next week from Monday October 4.
This year during World Animal Week, and in collaboration with Pedigree and Whiskers the GSPCA will have stands at Nestors Supervalu in Oranmore, Ballybane, and Fr Griffin Road on Friday 9 and Saturday October 10. The local animal charity is asking members of the public for support by donating money or food.
On Sunday October 11 there will also be a stand outside Tesco in the Galway Shopping Centre.
The GSPCA is currently in desperate need of support. There are many ways to help through fundraising, making donations, giving rescued animals homes, volunteering, purchasing from the GSPCA shop, or by donating good quality resellable items.
