The Connemara Coast Hotel held its annual wedding fair in the Aran suite on Saturday. The event allowed couples planning their wedding the perfect opportunity to meet with a host of wedding exhibitors who were on hand to provide their advice and expertise on all aspects of planning a wedding. Children’s fancy dress Hallowe’en party in city museum

The Galway City Museum will hold a Hallowe’en fancy dress party for children Saturday October 31 from 3pm to 4pm.

A storyteller will be present to tell ghost stories to the children and the Galway City Council will be giving out recyclable bags for children to go trick or treating afterwards. There will also be prizes on the day. The event is part of the Galway Aboo Festival.

Hibernia College is holding interviews for its post graduate diplomas leading to a qualification in primary school teaching in mid-November. Prospective students must demonstrate competency in spoken Irish.
