GET UP, Stand up, the weekly stand up comedy open mic night at Garvey’s Hotel and Bar, Eyre Square, takes place tonight from 9.30pm.
The show is open to the public and comedians, and admission is free. Every week there is a lively crowd and a load of up and coming comedians performing. Each comedian is allowed seven to eight minutes for his/her set.

The Other Side of Sleep is a dark psychological drama and the first feature film by Athlone born Rebecca Daly who won the Best Short award at the Galway Film Fleadh with Joyriders.
