Galway International Arts Festival and Róisín Dubh have announced that The Coronas will return to the stage of the Heineken® Big Top this July.
The Coronas are the latest artists to be announced for this exciting series of gigs, which will take place as part of Galway International Arts Festival 2023.
The group, one of Ireland’s most popular live acts, returns to the Heineken® Big Top this July for a joyous evening of their world-famous hits. This hugely–popular band will treat the audience to hits such as Someone Else’s Hands, Closer to You, San Diego Song and Give Me a Minute.
The Coronas’ seventh album, Time Stopped was released in October and went straight to No. 1 on the Irish album charts, making them the first and Irish band in history to have a third consecutive No. 1 album, an amazing feat for the Dublin trio.
They have just completed a world tour playing to full houses in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia, finishing with sold out shows in Dublin in December. Don’t miss The Coronas return to Galway for what’s sure to be a show–stopping Festival experience.
“We are absolutely loving being back on the road. Some of these shows were originally scheduled to happen over two years ago so it’s lovely that people haven’t forgotten about us. London, Amsterdam, New York, Vancouver, Sydney and obviously the Dublin shows were definite highlights but we’re just really enjoying travelling and promoting Time Stopped. It’s amazing to hear the new songs being sung back to us. We are really looking forward to returning to Galway International Arts Festival for our gig this July,” said Danny O’Reilly, The Corona
Tickets for The Coronas go on sale tomorrow Friday April 28 at 10am from giaf.ie and roisindubh.net
