New Galway United manager Shane Keegan has starting assembling his new squad with three players having re-signed with the club.
Colm Horgan and Marc Ludden were the first to pen new contracts, followed by Kevin Devaney. However United have lost their captain, with Shamrock Rovers confirming Ryan Connolly's move to Tallaght next season. A key man for United, he will be a huge loss, having played 96 games and scored 12 goals in his three seasons.

Galway WFC is calling on all supporters to get out and support the women's team this weekend in the home season finale.
Galway play their final home game of the season in Eamonn Deacy Park on Saturday (7pm) against Peamount United, and they will be looking to end the season on a high by getting a result against the Dubliners.

Both sides struggled last weekend - Galway going down 4-0 to UCD Waves on Saturday night in Eamonn Deacy Park, while Wexford Youths lost the FAI Cup final on Sunday in the Aviva Stadium by 5-0 to Shelbourne.

Tommy Dunne’s team were involved in goal-laden games against Shamrock Rovers on Friday and Cork City on Tuesday. Having lost 4-2 at Tallaght Stadium, United were subsequently beaten 5-3 by John Caulfield’s on the banks of the Lee.
