When Mayo were awarded a penalty in injury time on Wednesday night and were trailing by a point against Sligo, the percentage option was to take a point and see where the chips landed after that, but that thought never entered their heads said Mayo captain Andrew Farrell after the game. "Ah no, when you've a man like Darren Coen standing over a penalty like that you know he's going to rattle it into the net."

Galway senior Camogie ladies head to Semple Stadium in Thurles on Sunday to take on Kilkenny in the Irish Daily Star division one league final (1.30pm).
Galway have been doing well this season under team manager Ollie Bergin (Kinvara), and his selectors, Joan Poland (Eyrecourt), Francis Larkin (Killimor) and David Forde (Clarinbridge), advancing to the league final after a one-point win over Limerick two weeks ago.

The team has two massive division two league games coming up against Fermanagh (March 27 at Tuam Stadium) and Cavan (April 3 at Breffni Park), and two wins in those games would see Galway promoted to Division One for 2017.
