Heritage and drama at Coole Park

The Coole Park series of cultural events is well under way with great attendances at all the events. There are just a few arts events left in the programme with only one taking place this week. The heritage course entitled reading and understanding the landscape which is funded by Galway Rural Development, started this week and takes place on Mondays and Thursdays until mid March. Tomorrow from 8pm to 9pm the Gombeens present Stories of a Yellow Town. This emotional and enlightening journey is based on a collection of real-life personal stories/observations recorded by interviewing Brazilians and Irish people in Gort.
