The Sullivan family, originally from Ard Mor and which includes Michael and Julia, along with their children Sienna, 14 and Kian, 12, is believed to be the first family in Irish currach rowing to win five different trophies in the annual All-Ireland currach competition held on Sunday in Roundstone.

Campaign to reopen day care centre will escalate, warns Donohue

The campaign to get Seven Springs Day Care Centre re-opened on a full-time basis will be escalated in the coming weeks unless the demands for met, Councillor Geraldine Donohue has warned the HSE.

On June 24 a protest took place at the entrance to the Day Centre where the demands were made clear.
