Garda probe after house damaged in Loughrea

Gardai have appealed for information following an incident in which a house at Fahy Gardens, Loughrea, was damaged last week.

Extensive damage was caused to the door of the house shortly before 11pm on Wednesday October 5. Anyone who may have been in the area around this time and may have witnessed the damage being caused, or who has any information in relation to this incident, is asked to contact Loughrea Garda Station on 091 842870.

Gardaí in Galway are appealing for witnesses after vandals sprayed graffiti on the exterior of a vehicle in the city centre last week.

The white Ford van was parked on Dominick Street when the incident took place at approximately 3am on Thursday October 6. Gardaí are anxious to speak with anyone that may have been in the area on Thursday morning and may have witnessed the damage being caused, or who may have any information in relation to this. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 538000.

A number of items and a small amount of cash were stolen from a vehicle parked at Dock Road, Galway, earlier this month.

The vehicle, a a grey Mazda 6 Estate, was broken into at some time between 3pm on Saturday October 1 and 9am on Sunday October 2. Anyone who may witnessed this theft taking place, or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Dock Road area on Saturday night/Sunday morning October 1 and 2, is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 538000.

In a separate incident, which occurred some time between Tuesday evening October 4 and Wednesday morning October 5, number plates bearing a 151-G registration were removed from a grey Audi A6 estate parked on the Monivea Road, Galway. Anyone who may have been in the area at the time and may have seen anyone that could assist the gardaí is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 538000.
