Christian Camp of the Arts will celebrate its annual Halloween Kids Fun Fest in Leisureland on Friday October 31.
For the ninth year running a crew of over 50 volunteers will transform Leisureland into a one-night-only children’s ’Heaven on Earth’ of inflatable games, challenges, game stalls, costume contest, and obstacle course, as well as a fantastical show. Every child is a winner and every player is rewarded with loads of sweets in a happy evening that touts enough events and a happening schedule that keeps everything on a good clip.

Galway architect, playwright, journalist, and ‘man about town’ Dick Byrne will launch his autobiography - Tell ‘Em Who You Are! - in Kenny’s Bookshop, Liosbán, tomorrow at 6pm.
“Tell ‘em who you are!” ordered the last regimental sergeant of the 2nd Connacht Rangers to his grandson Dick Byrne. This remark is now the title of Dick’s autobiography in which he recounts his long association with An Taibhdhearc, working with Micheál MacLiammóir, and writing numerous pantomimes and plays.
