Halloween fun with Christian Camp of the Arts

Christian Camp of the Arts will celebrate its annual Halloween Kids Fun Fest in Leisureland on Friday October 31.

For the ninth year running a crew of over 50 volunteers will transform Leisureland into a one-night-only children’s ’Heaven on Earth’ of inflatable games, challenges, game stalls, costume contest, and obstacle course, as well as a fantastical show. Every child is a winner and every player is rewarded with loads of sweets in a happy evening that touts enough events and a happening schedule that keeps everything on a good clip.

The group’s aim is to create a safe and fun environment for children with, as always with Christian Camp of the Arts, a terrific moral theme: ‘The Good Guys Always Win!’ The event costs €10 per child for the three hour spectacle, and parents and babies are admitted free.

Each year contains a full length show for children, with a unique theme incorporating drama, song, crowd participation games, and top class entertainment for all. Productions have included Indi-Anna Jones, Under the Sea, and Star Wars, to name a few. This year, the audience will witness the ‘Extreme Team’ in action as they travel to Beijing on the adventure of a lifetime. This team of characters must battle against all odds to defeat super ninjas and bring back their captive friend. Your children won’t want to miss a minute.

Nearly a thousand people attended last year’s Kids Fun Fest, making it the biggest event of its kind. The camp’s director and wonderful staff work hard to make it a night to remember. Along with the smashing summer camps and Paddy’s Day parade floats, the team has made a big splash in Galway’s children’s community and has become a favourite for parents.
