Rith 2010, the 1,600km relay run around Ireland, involving thousands running “ar son na Gaeilge” with the specially designed baton, holding a secret message from the President of Ireland, is coming to Galway next week.
On Monday March 15, the runners will begin the Gort to Loughrea leg, leaving Gort at c1.43pm and arriving in Loughrea at c4.32pm. From there they will go to Athenry, arriving there at c6.52pm.
