ALEXANDER NUT and dBridge will be delivering the DJ sets at Factory on Eglinton Street this weekend night as part of the Galway Fringe Festival.
Eglo Records boss Alexander Nut will be spinning the decks tomorrow night. Given the all-embracing nature of his sets and Rinse FM shows, expect hip-hop, garage, house, grime, disco, and techno, and maybe a bit of soul. Support is from Cult Resident Eoin.

RYAN SHERIDAN will bring his energetic mix of acoustic rock, driving percussion and hip hop, to Monroe’s Live this Saturday at 8pm.
Discovered through busking Mumford and Sons’ ‘Little Lion Man’ on Grafton Street, the Monaghan man broke through in 2011 with the hit single ‘Jigsaw’; a following single ‘The Dreamer’ was used in a Heineken ad campaign; and his debut album The Day You Live Forever entered the Irish charts at No 2.

THE ENERGETIC sound of gypsy jazz will light up Monroe’s Backstage Bar tonight from 10pm when Gypsi Swing take to the stage.
This Irish quintet play the gypsy jazz of the 1920s and 30s made famous by virtuoso guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli. They also play swing covers of modern pop hits.

THEYMAY be named after the tip end of Cornwall, but bluegrass band Land’s End draws members from Gloucester, Liverpool, Munich, Dublin, Cork, and Galway.
The Land's End Bluegrass Band play Monroe’s Live tomorrow at 10.30pm. The band formed at the Sore Fingers international bluegrass workshop last year and are led by Galwegian Hugh ‘Blind Boy’ Murray.
