Brand New Zeros and Cronin @ Monroe’s Live

TWO BANDS - Brand New Zeros and Cronin - one English, the other Irish, and who play original music, will both play Monroe’s Live on Sunday October 25 at 9pm.

Brand New Zeros - Ronan MacManus (vocals ), Luke James Dolan (guitar ), Enda Mulloy (bass ), Carlton Hunt (drums ) - are from north west London and Watford, and in April this year, they came to Transmission Rooms Recording Studio in Drumlish, in Longford, to record their debut album. They got it done in three days, aided by engineer/studio owner Mick Cronin of the band Cronin. The eponymously entitled debut was released in June 2015 to coincide with the band's UK tour supporting the great Elvis Costello.

Cronin are a mod rock-indie band, based around the Leeds-Irish brothers Jonathon and Michael Cronin. They achieved a fair level of critical and commercial success with their previous incarnation, The Aftermath. Over the years the Cronin brothers have shared the stage with the Kaiser Chiefs, The Libertine's Pete Doherty, Christy Moore, and Paul Weller. Their music has been featured in The Lone Ranger and The Hardy Bucks.

Tickets are €5 on the door. See www.monroes.ie
